Question:
If a camera was put up the rear (anal hole) of someone due to medical reason, will it break wudhu and why?
Also, why doesn’t a plaster break wudhu seeing that it stops blood
exiting the wound.
Answer:
Bismillah
1) If a camera was inserted into the anus due to medical reasons, it will not break wudhu. However, if any impurity was to come out, this will break wudhu as that which comes out the anus is impure. [1]
2) In order for blood to break the wudhu, it must be flowing. A plaster does not break wudhu as it stops the flow of blood exiting the wound.
“That blood which exits the wound and is not flowing is not impure (Raddul Muhtar) [2]
