How can Muslim students remove themselves from participating in Shirk activities in West Bengal schools?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
In West Bengal there is worshiped Swaraswati Puja in every school . We, the Muslim have to participate or to co-operate in many ways . Students are forced to donate money for worshipping the idols. How can we remove ourselves from this Shirk?

Answer

(Fatwa: 514/311/D=1432)

The worship of gods and goddess is shirk. It is haram for a Muslim to participate in it. It is not lawful to help in the Puja (worship) or make donation. Hence Muslims should be concerned and try to save the children from such acts so that Muslim children are saved from polytheistic practices in the school. Or they should establish such schools that are free from such acts.
