Asalamu alaikum…I have recently completed agricultural engineering and i am getting an job as an engineer in rural bank owned by Government of India.Rural banks are the agencies through which money gets distributed for lifting the socio economic conditions of rural areas.They employ various professionals like vetenary doctrs, agriculture graduates etc etc…Is it permissible to do this job..

It is lawful for a Muslim to do a job in a bank in which he has not to assist in taking and giving interest, recording interest and bearing witness to it. If you are getting a lawful job in the bank, it is permissible for you to do it.
