Can a muqtadi make dua in sajdah?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Can a muqtadi make his own dua in sajdah after reciting three times subhane rabbi al aalaa in jamaat performing fard salah before imaam? Answer as it to me that i can tell to others.

Answer

Recite only سبحان ربى الاعلى in the sajdah of fardh salah; however in nafl salah you can recite any other dua in addition to سبحان ربى الاعلى, but it should be in Arabic and mathur (mentioned in Quran or Hadith). It is not allowed to make dua in Urdu (while in salah).
