i read the topic on your website ” Why are muslims suffering”. In point 23 the opperessive leader you qouted a hadith “Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wa Sallam) said: Just as you are (your actions are) so will your rulers be” Can u please give me the hawala of this hadith ..from which book is it taken from?

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Allah Ta’ala says in the Holy Quran:
وكذلك نولي بعض الظالمين بعضا بما كانوا يكسبون
“And thus We set some wrongdoers on some others because of what they used to commit” (6:129)
According to tafsir of the Holy Quran, one of the meanings of this verse is that when the people turn away from Allah Ta’ala and become involved in deeds of injustice and oppression, then Allah Ta’ala sets oppressive rulers over them. (Ma’arful Quran, 3/471)
With regards to the Hadith in the article, it having a chain leading up to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) is questionable. Nevertheless, the meaning is supported by the abovementioned verse of the Quran. The words of the Hadith are as follows:
أخبرنا هبة الله بن أبي غسان الفارسي نا عبد الملك بن حسان البكاري ثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن عمران الجوري أبنا أحمد بن إبراهيم بن عثمان بن المثنى أبو المثنى الباهلي أن أباه وعمه محمد بن يحيى حدثاه قالا أنا الكرماني بن عمرو ثنا المبارك بن فضالة عن الحسن عن أبي بكرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم قال : كما تكونون يولى أو يؤمر عليكم
“As you shall be, so shall be the rulers appointed over you” (Musnad Shihab)
Many scholars of Hadith have attributed its words to one of the great masters of Ahadith amongst the Tabi’een, Hasan al-Basri (Rahimahullah), who was one of the wisest and learned amongst the Tabi’een (Rahimahumullah). He would not have said these words from his own accordance.
(أعمالكم عمالكم) قال النجم لم أره حديثا لكن ستأتي الإشارة إليه في كلام الحسن في حديث كما تكونوا يولى عليكم
(Kashful Khifaa, #427)
( كما تكونون يولى عليكم أو يؤمر عليكم )
الحاكم ومن طريقه الديلمي من حديث يحيى بن هاشم حدثنا يونس بن أبي إسحاق عن أبيه أظنه عن أبي بكرة مرفوعا بهذا
ومن هذا الوجه أخرجه البيهقي في السابع والأربعين بلفظ ( يؤمر عليكم ) بدون شك وبحذف أبي بكرة وقال إنه منقطع وراويه يحيى في عداد من يضع
وله طريق أخرى فأخرجه ابن جميع في معجمه والقضاعي في مسنده من جهة الكرماني بن عمرو حدثنا مبارك بن فضالة عن الحسن عن أبي بكرة بلفظ ( يولى عليكم ) بدون شك وفي سنده إلى مبارك مجاهيل
وعند الطبراني معناه من طريق عمر وكعب الأحبار والحسن فإنه سمع رجلا يدعو على الحجاج فقال له لا تفعل إنكم من انفسكم أتيتم إنا نخاف إن عزل الحجاج أو مات أن يستولي عليكم القردة والخنازير فقد روي أن أعمالكم عمالكم وكما تكونون يولى عليكم
وأنشد بعضهم بذنوبنا دامت بليتنا والله يكشفها إذا تبنا
وفي المأثور من الدعوات ( اللهم لا تسلط علينا بذنوبنا من لا يرحمنا )
