My friend is 5 months pregnant and they have filed a case for the divorce, but her husband said, neither he will gave his name to that kid nor take any responsibility, he also blames her wife that it is not his baby as God knows he is a big lair, He said that if there will be baby boy then “may be” he will keep that baby but if there will be baby girl then you people can keep that or send her any “yateem-khaha”, girl cannot up bring the kid alone, and her family wants the abortion in this situation, what should they do or what islam says in these position when divorce will happen soon and no one is ready to take the responsibilty of that kid.
It is not permissible to abort the pregnancy of 5 months. It is irresponsible for the husband (father of the child) to make statements as stated in the details of the query.
He should fear Allah and accept the responsibility of his child.
