Q: My wife is one week pregnant. We do not want the baby we already have 4 girls. Can she have an abortion?
A: Abortion for this reason is not permissible. Just because you do not want the child, you may not abort the fetus. Consider this a gift from Allah, fulfil your responsibility towards this unborn baby, and regard it as an addition to the Ummat of Our Rasool (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)
Allah will provide the means of caring for and looking after the baby.
