Salam Alykoum is there any objection of obtaining Fatwa from Fatwa Department at Jamiatul Ulama (Kwa Zulu Natal)? My question was answered by Mufti Taahir Hansa who was very kind to answer my questions.

Jamiatul Ulama Kwa Zulu Natal is a leading organisation of reputable Ulama established in 1955 by foremost senior Ulama of South Africa. The Muftis of the Jamiatul Ulama are competent Muftis who issue rulings of Shariah strictly according to the Quran, Ahadith and as understood by Imaam Abu Hanifa (Rahimahullah) with consideration of the other Imaams of Fiqh (Imaam Malik, Imaam Shafi`ee and Imaam Ahmad ibnu Hanbal (Rahimahumullah)). The Fatwa Department of Jamiatul Ulama Kwa Zulu Natal is headed by Hadrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai Saheb (Hafizahullah).
The in house Muftis of the Jamiatul Ulama Kwa Zulu Natal are;
Mufti Moosa Saalie Saheb (Hafizahullah).
Mufti Ismaeel Bassa Saheb (Hafizahullah).
Mufti Taahir Hansa Saheb (Hafizahullah).
The Fatawa issued by the Jamiatul Ulama Kwa Zulu Natal are reliable.
