Q: I have 3 tolas of gold and one year passes over it. Is zakaat liable on me or not?
A: 3 tola of gold is less than the nisaab for zakaat. However, if you have cash or silver and when the value of the gold is added to it, it reaches the nisaab of zakaat then zakaat will be compulsory.
