Working in a company where the credit price is more than cash price

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I want to work in an electronics company that provides products on loan (12 months installments) And they take more money than the actual prize of the product. For example a product which costs 45,000 PKR (Cash) they give it at a total amount of 54,000 PKR (in installments). Can I work there? Will my earnings will be Halal?

Bismillaah

A: Generally the credit price is more than the cash price. As long as the credit price is fixed, and customer is not charged interest in the case of late payment, the transaction is permissible. It is permissible for you to work in such a company.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
