Can Goodwill be Attached to a Sale?

Q: Is it permissible to attach the condition of goodwill to a sale? If not, what is the correct procedure?

Bismillaah

A:

1. No.

2. There is nothing correct about the goodwill. The correct procedure will be to remove the goodwill clause form the sale.
