Forgetting to wash a limb in wudhu

Question

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

If someone remembers that he forgot to wash part of a limb during wudu (for example, the elbow) and wash it several minutes afterwards (washing only that part, i.e. without re-starting the entire process of wudu), is his wudu valid?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Whilst performing wudhu, if one forgets to wash a limb, he may wash that limb when he remembers.

The wudhu will be valid. One does not have to repeat the entire wudhu again. [1]
