Asalamualakum I have a question regarding wearing new clothes/stuff on Friday. I heard one of my friend saying that if you wear the new clothes on Friday you will not be asked about it on the day of judgment. I would like to know to what extent this is correct?

It is mustahab to wear best of available clothes on Friday, even if it is not new then also it is alright. As far as questioning in qiyamah is concerned, we did not see any such hadith.
