Is it permissible to let beard grow longer than a fist? And where does the “fist” start from exactly? Is it from the chin down?
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1955/1462/D=1431)
(1) It is lawful but one should not grow it too long that looks odd.
(2) Yes, the fist starts from the chin.
