As salamo alaikum.I have some Debts in various shops.But I dont remember the actual amount which I need to pay to the shopkeepers.And One of the shopkeeper even died.But I am in doubt and I dont remember that I had some debt with the died one or not.All these happened at an earlier age when I was not so serious and aware about these matters.I took biscuits and candies from the shops and told them that I would pay later.Sometimes I paid and sometimes I forgot.Please suggest popularly what do I need to do?

The answer to your question is as follows:
Give an estimated amount as charity with the intention that its rewards will be received by the persons whom I owe the amounts and the rewards to them will be in proportion to the amount due on me.
