Assalam alaikum w w
I live in Melbourne, Australia. With regard to current conflict amongst elders, I am very confused. I need your kind advice please. As every where, we are very divided here. People with Pak background are with shura and people with Bangladesh background in general with nizamuddin.
I dont know who is right who is wrong.
Our local shura is with shura and not nizamuddin.
One of the mufti sb says when ulama are not with nizamuddin, we should not be there. Most of the ulema here are pak background and seems to be with shura.
I do not want to be in wrong group but I do not know who is right or wrong, where should I put myself.
I need your humble guidance please?
Jazaka Allah

The answer to your question is as follows:
Istikhara is a very helpful way to ask for Allah’s guidance. So it is better to offer 2 Rakats with the intention of Istikhara then recites the Dua for Istikhara which may be found in all the books of prayer. You will be guided insha-Allah.
And Allah knows best
