Q: I am a woman and would like to know if writing a book is considered bad in Islam?
A: There are several conditions that have to be observed when writing books. We do not know whether you can conform to all those conditions. Secondly, it is best for women to keep themselves concealed. Exposing their identity is not in keeping with the required level of modesty and shame.
