Q: Can Zakaat be given to ones parents?
A. Zakaat cannot be given to parents, grandparents and higher. It also cannot be given to children, grand-children and lower. It can be given to the rest of the family if they are eligible for Zakaat. (Al Hindiyyah V1 P188)
