Q: Can a menstruating woman recite Quran from memory e.g. Can she recite Surah Mulk at bedtime?

A: A menstruating woman may not recite Quran from memory. Therefore, she will not be able to read daily surahs such as Mulk, Yaseen, Waaq’aih, etc.

However, she may read Aayatul-Kursi for protection, as well as Suras Falaq and Naas. These are also for protection.
