Question
In Witr, is it a must to pray surahs alaa, kafirun, ikhlaas. Is this farz, sunnat or what?
Answer
It is a sunna to recite these surahs in witr salah (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Nasa’i, Ahmad, Ibn Majah). It is not fardh or wajib.
