If after giving my Zakat, there is a delay due to Coronavirus, what do I do?

Question: With regards to Zakat, if after giving my Zakat to an organisation, there is a delay by them due to Coronavirus, what is the ruling? Sas my Zakat been given or do I give it to another organisation?

Answer: When you give it to an organisation or even an individual, they become your wakeel. When the Zakat goes to the Wakeel, your duty is fulfilled regardless of when he dispatches it, so your Zakat is done. You don’t need to give it for a second time.
