I am trading in share market, I want to know that if i sold shares in the morning after market starts and buy shares (which i sold in the morning or before some time) after some time in that day before closing the market, which is called short position/transaction, is it HALAL or HARAM?
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1538/1172=H/1429)
If the shares take some day’s time to covert to freeze assets, it is unlawful to sell the shares before that, rather is ir haram.
