Q: If a husband does observes Hijab/pardah with his wife and keeps no relations for more than four months nor he is interested to do so in future, what’s the ruling about it in Shariah (Islamic Law)? Does their nikah (marriage) remain valid?
A: The husband remaining aloof or separated from his wife irrespective of the duration or time period will not affect the nikah in any way.
