Q: To what extent can a Muslim lady do her hair? Can she tint, dye etc her hair?

A:

It is permissible for a lady to dye/colour her hair provided that this is not done to cause any resemblance with non-muslim women or women of loose morals, nor is it done to deceive any person or for show or fame, etc. A woman is permitted to trim her hair slightly in order to make them grow quickly or to bring them in a level in which there is no resemblance with men or non-muslim women.
