Q: I am performing hajj tamattu this year. Can I cut my hair and nails before entering into ihram for Mina/Arafat, since I am not performing umrah before Arafat day as I have already performed it. Also is intercourse permissible during this time as there are only a few days left before Arafat day?
A: You can cut your nails, etc. before entering Ihraam for Haj and intercourse is also permissible before Ihraam.
