Q: I would just like to know what the issue is with cutting nails on specific days and cutting nails at night. I have been told we cannot cut nails on a Tuesday and Wednesday. Please can you advise me further on this.
A: Nothing has been established about the method or time in which to pare one’s nails.[1] One can pare the nails whenever there is a need. To pare the nails on a Tuesday or Wednesday or at night is permissible. It is however advisable to pare the nails on a Friday.
