- It depends when you are making the ijtimai dua. If it is after Fajr or Asr salah when the imam is facing the people, then he should remain in that position; similarly after a bayaan, but if in janazah or when everyone was facing the qiblah, then the daa’ee should also stay facing the qiblah.
- Looking down with humility and attention is better.
