If it is within the power of a human to speak lies then Allah has to have this power as
well. Otherwise this would mean that the human has more power that Allah.

Janab Rashid Ahmed Ganghai declaration on the topic “The possibility of Allah To
Speak Lies” What ever Allah has commanded He has power to go against it but He
would not do it. (Rashid Ahmad Ganghoi). This is proven from Hadith and Qur’an,
and this is the belief of the Ulamaa. For example Firoun (Pharoah) is destined for Hell,
but it is possible for him to enter Haven, even so he will not ever enter Haven.

Moulana Nazeer Ahmad Khan writes, “In the last page of the publication of
“Siyaanathunaas” printed in Hadiq-al Uloom press Meerat in 1308 Hijri, this

to the topic “The Possibility of Allah to Speak Lies” is this Ifaal Qbeah (evil deed) hass
various possibilities and is within Allah’s power this is accepted by most Muslims.
This is because if there is evil, then it is in His capabilities. But His Power does not
make it necessary. If it does happen it displays proof of His Devine Excellence.

Please ask your friend to answer the following questions in light of the books of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah:
1) Is Allah capable of forgiving the Kaafir and Mushrik?
2) Is it incumbent upon Allah to pass decisions in favour of His servants?
3) If Allah sends a believer to Hell forever, then how will one react to this action of Allah?
4) Does Allah have the ability to exterminate himself?
As soon as we receive the answers to the aforementioned questions, we will answer your questions Insha Allah. In the meantime you should remain assured that the Deobandis beliefs are in harmony with that of the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa’ah.
