Let your neighbour be the judge

What is the authenticity of this Hadith?

A man said to the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) : ‘How can I know when I have done well and when I have done something bad?’ Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

‘If you hear your neighbours saying that you have done well, then you have done well, and if you hear them saying that you have done something bad, then you have done something bad”

Answer

Imam Ibn Majah (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration in his Sunan on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

‘Allamah Busiri (rahimahullah) has declared the narrators reliable.

(Zawaid Ibn Majah, Hadith: 1437)
