Saying “aameen bijaahi nabiyil kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam”

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: When we recite any dua then we say aameen or if someone gives us duas, e.g. he says “Allah save you from hell” then we say aameen. One of my brother says aameen and also adds “aameen bijaahi nabiyil kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam”. Is it correct? Can we add or subtract according to our own thoughts.

Bismillaah

A: It is correct.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
