A du’a to read upon awakening

What is the authenticity of the following du’a?

إذا استيقظ أحدكم فليقل: الحمد لله الذي رد علي روحي وعافاني في جسدي، وأذن لي بذكره

The Hadith in question has been recorded by the following authorities:

1) Imam Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3401

2) Imam Nasa’i; ‘Amalul Yawmi Wal Laylah, Hadith: 866

3) Imam Ibnus Sunni, Hadith: 9

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith as sound (hasan). Also see Nataijul Afkar of Hafiz Ibn Hajar (rahimahullah), vol. 1 pgs. 111-114.

When one of you awakens, he should recite the following du’a:

Alhamdulillahil ladhi radda ‘alayya ruhi wa ‘afani fi jasadi wa adhina li bidhikrihi’

All praise is due to Allah who has returned my soul, restored my body with good health and allowed me to remember him.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best
