Question:

Asalam o alykum

I am going on umrah 22.03.2018. I have had a miscarriage last week at 7 weeks and I am bleeding. Please help me. Can I perform umrah? What can I and what cant I do. Please reply back

Answer

بسم الله الرحمن الرحي

First, we console you and hope that Almighty Allah compensates you for this difficulty and grants you a righteous child.

As this is a miscarriage the blood is regarded as Istihaadah(  إستحاضة ) and not post natal bleeding.

Istihaadah is bleeding for any other reason other then menstruation or post natal bleeding.

This means you can perform everything that a normal woman not in her periods can perform, so of course you can perform Umrah.[1]

Only Allah Knows best.
