Q: I’m pregnant and want to breast feed my child but I’m a student and can not be available for my child everytime. So I wanted to know if Islam allows the use of breast pump machines available in the market for storing breast milk? If yes can I use any of the two types of machines (electrical or manual)?
A. It will be permissible to extract the milk electrically or manually.
