Q: My daughter is 30 months old. At the time of sleeping, she does not sleep unless she is breastfed. I tried to make her give up but all in vain. Kindly advise me if its still haraam for me as it is only at the time of sleeping she does this.
A: The breast feeding is permissible till the child reaches two years of age (i.e. two lunar years). Make istigfaar for surpassing the limit and immediately stop breastfeeding her.
