Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykumwa-rahmatullāhiwa-barakātuh.

It is not compulsory for one to have Suhoor for Qaza fast or any other fast.

Having Suhoor (pre-dawn) meal is Sunnah. Nabi Sallalahu Alihi Wasallam advise us in a Hadith to have suhoor for verily in having Suhoor there is barakah.

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Take Suhur as there is a blessing in it.

It is indeed a test and a trail from Allah Ta’ala for us to be in this transitory world and spend our life in conformity to Shariah.

Allah has kept two evil elements that is being impediments for us in fulfilling the commandments of Allah. One is the Nafs (ego) and the other  is the Shaitaan.

Allah Ta’ala wants us to overcome these two obstacles and has taught us how to overcome and encounter them as well, and has given us choice to accumulate good deeds by doing good actions and to perpetrate bad actions to accumulate bad deeds. For every good and bad actions we will be rewarded accordingly.

7. So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.

8. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it.

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
