A reward for gifting milk or guiding a lost person

Please verify and translate this narration:

من منح منيحة لبن أو ورق أو هدى زقاقا كان له مثل عتق رقبة

Answer

This Hadith has been authentically reported in several Hadith collections including Sunan Tirmidhi, Musnad Ahmad and Sahih Ibn Hibban on the authority of Sayyiduna Bara ibn ‘Azib (radiyallahu ‘anhu). Imam Tirmidhi and Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahumallah) have declared the Hadith authentic.

Translation

Whoever gives someone some milk [or lends him an animal to benefit from and drink the milk] or gives him some silver, or guides someone who is lost [or guides a blind person], then he will receive the reward similar to freeing a slave

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
