Abstain from quarrelling for it is not beneficial

“Beware and abstain from quarrelling and arguing, for the benefits are few but it creates enmity and hatred between brothers”

Answer

Imam Abu Nu’aym and Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration as an advice offered by Nabi Sulayman (‘alayhis salam) to his son.

(Hilyatul Awliya, vol. 3 pg. 70 and Shu’abul Iman, Hadith: 8076)
