If a sister follows hanafi and marries a brother that follows shafi, do she have to change and follow shafi with her husband? Or can she continue to follow hanafi fiqh?

Each spouse can continue to follow their respective madhhabs. However, they should sit down and agree (before disagreements arise) on how to deal with potentially contentious situations and matters of rights and responsibilities. It is often wise to do this in writing. Then, when disagreements or disputes arise, there will be an agreed-upon basis for them to resolve their differences.
