My question, with regard to the unfortunate process of Talaaq:
If 2 x Talaaqs have been issued in writing and the wife has already set through a period of 3months and 10 days, is it necessary to issue a 3rd Talaaq or does the 3rd Talaaq apply during the 3 months and 10 days without being communicated formally either verbally or in writing.

Answer:
After giving 2 Talaaqs once the ‘Iddah has expired, the woman will be separated from her husband. There is no need to issue the third Talaaq. Once the ‘Iddah expires if the third Talaaq is given it won’t be counted. The ‘Iddah for Talaaq is the passing of three menstruations.
