Answer:

1.        It is Sunnah to keep the two feet apart in Sajdah, which means that neither the ankles nor the heels will touch each other.  (Imdaadul Ahkaam, Vol. 1, Page 477-478, Ahsanul Fataawaa, Vol. 3, Page 49)

One should remember that according to the Muhaqqiqeen (researchers) the word “Ilsaaq” used with regards to joining the feet is in the meaning of “Muhaathaat”, i.e. to keep both the feet in line with each other and not joining the feet together.  (Ahsanul Fataawaa, Vol. 3, Page 37-40)

2.        According to the Ahnaaf the Sunnah method of washing the mouth and cleaning the nose is to first gargle the mouth thoroughly thrice, using fresh water each time and then to clean the nose thrice using fresh water each time.  The Sunnah method of washing the face is to wash the entire face thrice by letting the water flow from where the hair begins to the bottom of the chin using both the hands.  One should abstain from splashing the water on the face and a male must also ensure that the water reaches the roots of his beard if his beard is not thick (i.e. the skin beneath the beard is visible) and also the face must be washed from earlobe to earlobe.  (Fataawaa Aalamgeeriyyah, Vol. 1, Page 6, Fataawaa Qadhi Khan, Vol. 1, Page 33, Ma’aarifus Sunan, Vol. 1, Page 166-167, Fataawaa Darul Uloom Mudallal Mukammal, Vol. 1, Page 103)

3.        According to the Ahnaaf it is Sunnah to trim the moustache short and according to some jurists it is also permissible to trim the moustache level to the lips (i.e. only that portion that overhangs the lips).  If a person uses a trimmer to trim his moustache and not for Halaq (completely shave off the moustache), then he will receive the reward of Sunnah too.  (Raddul Muhtaar, Vol. 5, Page 288, Fataawaa Mahmoodiyah, Vol. 10, Page 113-114, Aapke Masaail aur Unkaa Hal, Vol. 7, Page 118).
