Sayyidah Fatimah’s resemblance with Nabi (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam)

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by HadithAnswers.com

Is this Hadith sahih?

I never saw anyone whose speech more closely resembled that of Rasullullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) than Fatimah. When she entered upon him, he would stand up to greet her, kiss her and welcome her, and she would do the same for him.

Answer

These are the words of Sayyidatuna ‘Aishah (radiyallahu’anha) and is recorded in Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 5175, Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3872, Sahih Ibn Hibban, Hadith: 9653 & Mustadak Hakim, vol.3 pgs.154 & 160.

In addition to the authentication by Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah), Imams Hakim and Dhahabi (rahimahumallah) have also declared it authentic (Sahih)
Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has declared it sound (hasan gharib)

Also see Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 3623-3624 for a shorter version.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best,
