Husband and wife should not hold hands or touch physically during Tawaf. From Hanafi point of view, it is said just as a precaution to avoid sexual desire or is there some other reason ? My parents aged above 62 years performed tawaf during Hajj holding each other hand. Does it affect validity of their Tawaf ?

According to Hanafi Fiqh, wudhu does not break merely by touching a woman until there take place things that break wudhu like madhi, etc. So, if husband and wife perform tawaf while holding the hands of each other without causing any things that breaks their wudhu, then there is no harm. It will not have any adverse effect on tawaf. However, one should not hold it without a need. And if needed the woman should wear gloves etc in hands.
