Is it haram to love a Muslim girl with the intention of marriage?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Assalamu Alaikum I have some questions 1)I want to know the differences between Mani and Mazi, please explain it deeply. 2)If a man who is weak in amal but belives strongly that there is no ilah but Allah, suppose that a businessman working his job missed his salat or a person who just simply missed his salat without any reason. I do beliv that this kind of doing is great sin but my question is does this man perform shirk(comparing with Allah)? If so then is it major or minor shirk? 3)I have listened about a hadith that tells “There is no better way other than marraiage for the two person love each other” is this hadith available? if not then my question is I love a muslim girl in my heart and wishing that we can marray each other,She also loves me and also wishes that we could marry. my question is Is this kind of Love(not romance) Haram in Islam? And Allah Knows the best!

Answer

(Fatwa: 40/41=B/1429)

(1) Mazi (pre-seminal fluid) is discharged due to foreplay or sexual thoughts and it intensifies lust. It breaks the wudhu; one has to wash it from his body and cloth. While, Mani (semen) is discharged with force and causes exhaustion and relaxation, it requires ghusl.

(2) The most important thing after eiman is salah. Let alone missing a salah, a Muslim is not even supposed to think of missing it. Though it is not shirk, but it is a major sin. Missing salah amounts to demolishing religion.

(3) We do not know any such Hadith, but loving a girl is unlawful as per the Shariah. However, if one falls in love he should marry her.
