Q: I follow the Hanafi school of thought whereas my wife is Maliki. I am planning to spend time in Morocco in the last 14 days of Ramadaan. In Morocco, 10 rakats Taraweeh is offered after isha and 10 rakats of Qiyam ul Layl are offered before fajr in the mosque. But in both Taraweeh and Qiam ul Layl the whole Quran is recited from the beginning to the end and maintain the same sequence in a similar fashion like 20 rakats of Taraweeh of elsewhere. What advice can you give me on how to do taraweeh in Morocco if I visit my wife?
A: If you cannot find a musjid where 20 rakaats taraweeh is done then after having done 10 in the musjid complete if possible with your family the other ten in jamaat.
