Q: Is it permissible to make a YouTube channel and get paid for making videos? If so I’m thinking of making a channel where people fall like funny videos or fails and get paid for it. I was also thinking of making na Islamic channel but do it for the sake of Allah and get paid for it. Is this okay in the hanafi madhab?
A: Pictures of animate objects (people, animals) are forbidden, whether funny videos or ‘Islamic’.
