Q: I am working for a bank as a Debt Collector. I need to work in order to provide as I have to look after my mom and pay bills. I have tried searching for other employment but have not been successful. What does one do? I need to eat and drink.
A. Continue to search for other employment earnestly, while also making sincere Taubah from the sin of having to collect interest from people. Your income is Halaal but is without any Barakah and blessing. So you need to look for another job more earnestly, but continue to work in this Debt collecting agency until you find another job.
