I wish to ask whether it is correct that his(Hazrat Ali) birth had taken place in BaitUllah and with regard to Khilafath injustice was meted out against him?

1. According to the preferred opinion Hadhrath Ali Radhiyallahu Anhu’s birth took place in Shuab e Bani Hashim, a valley in Makka. (Encyclopedia Sahaba e Kiram Radhiyallahu Anhum) extracts from Thareekh ul Khamees, Usaba, Sier A’alaamun Nubalaa.
2. As for the matter of Khilafath no injustice is meted out to him. The word injustice is not established from his words nor from the others of the Sahaba or Thabi’een, whereas after the demise of Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam, the full Jama’th of Sahaba e Kiram Ridhwanullahi Tha ‘ala Alaihim Ajma’een including Hadhrath Ali Radhiyallahu Anhu, after having lengthy discussion at Saqeefa Bani Sa’ida agreed upon the Khilafath of Hadrath Abu Bakr Radhiyallahu Anhu and pledged allegiance (Bai’ath) on his hand and this is found clearly in the books of history. Negating this is as if negating a reality and for further details referring to the book KHILAFATH E RASHIDA compiled by Hadhrath Moulana Idrees Kandhalawi would be helpful.
