Please correct my understanding that Christianity blames Hawwa A.S., solely for forcing Adam A.S.to commit the sin, and according to Islam both Adam A.S. and Hawwa A.S. were equally responsible. In light of the above, please describe the authenticity of the following Ahadith: Volume 4, Book 55, Number 547: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “But for the Israelis, meat would not decay and but for Eve, wives would never betray their husbands.” Volume 4, Book 55, Number 611: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “Were it not for Bani Israel, meat would not decay; and were it not for Eve, no woman would ever betray her husband.” If, authentic, please explain in detail.
The teachings of the Quran tell us that Shaitan beguiled and deceived both of them; and that prophet Adam was influenced by his talk and thought that he was telling them the truth, whereas in reality he was deceiving them. The idea of putting all the blame on Hazrat Hawwa does not seem correct. These other books, especially those books which have non-Muslims resources as their base, are not authentic; and many unauthenticated and fabricated stories have been mixed into them. Thus, they cannot be relied upon. I, personally, have no knowledge of that Hadith which you gave reference to.
