Is wearing a turban an established sunnah? and is there authentic hadith backing this up?
It’s sunnah to wear a turbin, and there are many prophetic traditions in favor of it. As a matter of fact prophet encouraged people to doing it. In one Hadith the prophet peace be upon him said that wear a turbin for it will add to your forbearance. In another words by wearing a turban one can increase the quality of serenity and endurance. Plus, the prophet himself used to adhere to wearing it and also his companions too. Hence, it’s sunnah to wear it.
