Question:
If someone were to make a fake resume and get a job,
1) will the income of those people be Haraam even if they perform a good job and fulfil whatever is needed to do their job?
2) if those people make Taubah and Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’ala has forgiven them for their sins, would it be right for those people to keep on continuing that job, or should they find another job within their boundaries as soon as possible?
3) would it Halaal for those people to keep those jobs until they found another job within their boundaries?
Answer:
If these people are qualified in carrying out this job and have knowledge in that regard, but have no certificate (resume), then their income will not be Haraam. However they should make sincere Taubah for making fake resumes.
